Project F.O.C.U.S. (Forming Occupational and Community Understanding for Success)  is a 2 year post-secondary education program for young adults with intellectual/developmental disability. F.O.C.U.S. uses the principles of the Universal Design for Learning and Person Centered planning to provide a 100% inclusive program that helps college students achieve current and future academic, independent living, and employment goals.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of  F.O.C.U.S. is to provide an inclusive, accessible, and productive career education program for college aged students with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in the Las Vegas valley that promotes self-determination, community engagement and partnerships, job readiness and transitions to adulthood through person-centered planning, inclusive teaching, evidence-based research, and positive behavior supports.

**2020 Application Deadline extended**

All applications for the Fall 2020 semester are now due by April 8th. While our physical office is closed at this time, we will still be accepting applications via email and conducting virtual interviews for the application process. Please see our admissions page for more information!

 


 

We are thrilled to announce that Project F.O.C.U.S. at UNLV has recently been approved as a Comprehensive Transition Program by the U.S. Department of Education. We are now one of 75  approved programs in the nation.
