Developing Instructional STEM Practices with NASA

Nine recent College of Education undergraduates, sponsored by COE Associate Professor Dr. Jeff Shih, earned the opportunity to attend a 5-day Summer STEM institute at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Palmdale, Calif.

Attendees will experience and develop student-centered activities that utilize NASA assets and resources to help educators create instructional practices that enhance STEM instruction for students in their classrooms.
