Research Expertise: Theoretical foundations and values of higher education, first- and second-year student experience, hermeneutics

Dr. Nathan Slife coordinates the First and Second-Year Seminar Program and the Holmes Program in the College of Education. He obtained his B.A. in Social Science Studies from UNLV, M.A. in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland, College Park, and Ph.D. in Higher Education from UNLV. Dr. Slife brings passion and dedication to the undergraduate teaching experience and enjoys collaborating with campus and community partners to support UNLV Holmes students.
